The collection, brought to the stage by prominent models, is Daniel Roseberry’s second foray into the world of Ready-to-Wear. As for Fall/Winter 2023, these looks intended for occasions other than the red carpet do not lack the taste of the designer who has become famous throughout the world for his truly exceptional Haute Couture

Maggie Maurer, in a shirt and long draped skirt, introduces the public to the key motif that animates this collection. The lobster is a revisitation of theiconic Lobster motif which made Elsa Schiaparelli even more famous in the late 1930s. The Italian-born designer used it to decorate clothes that became museum pieces. The original sketch was drawn by Salvador Dali. Thanks to that first ingenious collaboration, Schiaparelli began a path in surrealist art that forever marked his fashion

The iconic lobster of Elsa Schiaparelli and Dalì is now applied and painted on clothes but is also the theme of the incredible jewels that make every single collection designed by Roseberry even more spectacular. The stylist uses the jewels as a fundamental element of every look. Jewelry is never a mere complement

The exploration of the marine theme is part of Roseberry’s 360-degree journey into Schiaparelli’s legacy. The fish inspire the maxi jewels and the decoration of the garments

Roseberry has already introduced the famous into its collections the keyhole, another surrealist decorative element that becomes significant on his creations. The sneakers they are an absolute novelty for the Maison which with the new Ready-to-Wear lines is experimenting with the possibility of coexistence between fashion designed for the elite and accessible style

The surrealist mix is not limited to marine subjects and keyholes. Among the decorations appear chains, paints, cigarette packets and atelier objects, such as a seamstress’ tape measure. Everything ends up stuck on the garments, almost attracted by a magnetic force

In the Ready-to-Wear S/S 2024 collection there is no shortage of jeans, available in a over and with big pockets. This garment is also the expression of a mix of exclusivity and accessibility, “possible” in Roseberry’s vision

Worthy of attention, as always for Schiaparelli fashion shows, are the beauty looks, designed by Pat McGrath. Some, spectacular and out of the ordinary, are made with the application of all-over crystals on the face and body, true works of art that require several hours of work

Kendall Jenner was applauded from the front row by her sister Kylie, the much-photographed guest of the Schiaparelli fashion show and exceptional wearer of a look tailor-made for her, a hugging dress, entirely covered in crystals, in Monroe style. The exclusive creation, characterized by the iconic front keyhole, was completed by nude pumps that reproduce the toes (another accessory representative of the Maison’s style) and by a hairstyle with soft waves
