The actor Lino Guanciale was awarded the award for the best Italian series of the year in which he is the protagonist, One summer ago W (THE SPECIAL – EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW), the acclaimed Sky Original series broadcast on Sky and Now. The interpreter was awarded in Parma as part of the city’s film festival. Great enthusiasm and many people flocked to the event, which was sold out at the D’Azeglio cinema.
In addition to him, the famous Italian cartoonist Leo Ortolani was also the protagonist of the day at the 26th edition of Invenzioni dal Vero-Parma Film Festival.

“For having been able to combine multiple genres and generations with a product that is at the same time pop and cinephile, nostalgic and contemporary, strong in an intrigue that causes addiction, thanks also to the performance of a super cast starting from the protagonist Lino Guanciale up to his incarnation of the 90s, Filippo Scotti”.

It tells of a summer lived by a group of boys, including first loves, bonfires on the beach, sea, music, Italy of the 90s. However, there is a twist in this idyllic scene: a girl mysteriously disappears.
A mystery that from 1990 reaches the present day, when a body is found unexpectedly. They are the remains of Arianna, Elio’s desperate love, who will become the main suspect in his murder 30 years later. Trying to find out what really happened to Arianna and to exonerate himself from the accusation of being the one who killed her, Elio will have to carry out an investigation between past and present. A mission that for him perhaps also means the hope of being able to somehow change things, ultimately trying to save her.

Altarboy) find space. “Reinterpreting this great classic of Italian music was fun and stimulating,” declared Michielin. “A summer ago It has been proposed in many versions and this one, so fresh and with an 80s flavour, I particularly like. Collaborating with Altarboy was a great honor for me, I love their productions. I am really happy to have taken part in this project, a beautiful series with a wonderful cast,” added Francesca Michielin.
