Pensions, share 103: Inps updates application procedures

Flexible early retirement with at least 62 years of age and 41 years of contributions

The INPS updates the procedures for the definition of early retirement applications with ‘quota 103’ which can be reached at 62 years of age and 41 years of contributions for all workers enrolled in the compulsory general insurance and in the substitute and exclusive forms managed by the ‘Inps as well as the separate management. Both the personal data and the contribution requirements must be completed no later than 31 December 2023.

The right to flexible early retirement, achieved in 2023, allows access to the pension at any time following the opening of the so-called window: after a period of three months from the date of accrual of the requirements, for workers employed by employers work other than public administrations and for self-employed workers; in any case, the effective date of the pension cannot be earlier than 1 April 2023; after six months from the accrual of the requirements, for employees of the Public Administrations; in any case, the effective date of the pension cannot be earlier than 1 August 2023.

The modalities of access to the pension for Afam and school staff remain confirmed, respectively on November 1st and September 1st of the year in which the requirements are met. The latter are considered achieved even if completed after the dates indicated but in any case within the calendar year.
