Even this year Philip Morris Italia and Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna receive the ‘Top Employer’ certification for excellence in the development and implementation of HR policies and strategies through which to contribute to people’s well-being and to improve the environment and the world of work. The certifications obtained for the fourteenth consecutive year by Philip Morris Italia and the tenth by Philip Morris Manufacturing & Technology Bologna, in addition to the excellent working conditions offered, a note reads, represent further confirmation of how central people are to the entire corporate strategy: from the importance of internal ethical principles to the enhancement of diversity and inclusion, up to the actions implemented to promote a sustainable work environment.

Among the novelties of the last few months, also theopening of the Philip Morris Institute for Manufacturing Competences (IMC), the new center for higher education and the development of skills related to Industry 4.0. Inaugurated on 17 June 2022 in the Crespellano production hub, it intends to represent a point of reference in Italy for what concerns continuous training and technology transfer, promoting the development of skills for the professions of the future in the manufacturing world.
The commitment of recent years to ensure the best living and working conditions for employees is constant, also through innovative tools such as the Global Parental Leave (Gpl)the program which allows future parents to concentrate on taking care of their children in the period following the birth or adoption, guaranteeing a minimum paid period of 100% for both parents, in addition to what is already provided for by national legislation.
