Positive start of the week for European stock exchanges, with some stocks in evidence: in particular energy, health and real estate. Slightly negative Wall Street, waiting for the indications of the Fed on interest rates: they will arrive the day after tomorrow. In the meantime, the price of gas in Amsterdam and oil in the US is falling. On the exchange front, the euro is down against the dollar.
In Piazza Affari, on the other hand, the figure for Italian GDP in the third quarter is positively striking, according to an Istat estimate, up by 0.5% compared to the previous quarter and by 2.6% year on year. Milan closes with a 0.55% gain, at 22,652.11 points. However, the spread between BTPs and German Bunds rises and travels around 215 basis points.
On the main list of Piazza Affari, Unicredit showed a positive result (+ 2.37%). The institute announced that there will be impacts from the changes to the terms and conditions of the Targeted Longer-Term Refinancing Operations made by the ECB. The interest margin estimate for 2022 has been updated to over € 9.7 billion, including a positive contribution from the mechanism for the whole year of around € 400 million. Tim also did well (+ 0.81%). The company signed an agreement to extend the effectiveness of the memorandum of understanding signed with Cdp Equity, Macquarie, Kkr and Open Fiber to November 30th.
On the rise Campari (+ 2.00%), Diasorin (+ 2.48%), Tenaris (+ 2.58%), Unicredit (+ 2.37%) and Saipem (+ 1.57%). The latter completed the sale of all onshore drilling operations in KCAD, which include the Middle East, Africa and the Americas, for a consideration of USD 550 million.
