Popa, your Bon Vivant is an ode to the beautiful and thrilling things in life

The goddess of luxury pop, singer-songwriter and fashion designer, lover of lounges and sweet life, Popa publish Friday 28 July a mini EP containing two new versions of the single released in the summer of 2021 “Bon Vivant”: one in French and a remix by EXIT EXIT, in a disco dance key. “Bon Vivant” is a hymn to the Italian playboys who love beautiful things and who live a life of well-being, without ever worrying too much about tomorrow. Popa says about it: “It is a celebration of the lives on the cover, fantasizing about worldly places and gala evenings spent in the company of an imaginary and seductive Italian chansonnier who uses Vetiver perfume and cooks crepes with Grand Marnier”.

The song is a tribute to the photo novels of the magazine “Grand Hotel”: complicated but always light loves with elusive successful men à la Jean Paul Belmondo and women who are not damsels in difficulty who want to get married, but contemporary women who know how to recognize a “bon vivant” and have fun with him, on dream weekend adventures between Courmayeur and the Amalfi Coast.

Bon Vivant was written and composed by Popa with Gaetano Scognamiglio aka Carlos Valderrama and produced in Naples. Always tell Popa: “The inspiration was born thanks to gentle immersions in the sweet life of the Italian holiday, where in Cortina you still ski in jeans and in Forte dei Marmi you go to the beach in silk and linen dresses from the Caraceni tailoring”. With the classic irony and lightness that distinguish her and her international point of view, Popacelebrates the light-hearted and irreverent well-being of “Bon Vivant” giving him two new exclusive clothes, which will be the soundtrack to the hot summer.
