Pretty Woman, the musical arrives at the Teatro Lirico Giorgio Gaber in Milan

After the extraordinary response from audiences and critics last year, pretty woman will return to Milan from 27 April to 7 May on the stage of Giorgio Gaber Opera House.

Rome, Naples, Florence, Bologna, Bolzano and Ragusa are just some of the over thirty cities that hosted the musical produced by Internship Entertainment and organized in collaboration with Italian Insurance. The show will return to the Milanese capital after the over 80,000 tickets sold in the last season.

Matthew Strongdirector of the Giorgio Gaber Opera House and of the National Theatre, declared: ”After visiting thirty-one cities we can say that we are going back home, given that in the past season Pretty Woman in Milan he graduated blockbuster presenting itself, with over 80,000 tickets sold, as the most watched theater show in Italy. Clearly we aim to repeat ourselves with the understanding that this outstanding cast he has shown, on every stage, that he knows how to enter the heart of the audience, giving emotions like few other shows can do”.

The director then launched an invitation to the two protagonists of the film directed by Garry Marshall: “A dream? Well, that would be great, especially for our talented young cast, if Julia roberts or Richard Gere could attend one of our shows. Who knows, in the meantime, in view of the reruns at the Lirico, we’ll send you an invitation. Just like in Pretty Woman, dreaming costs nothing”.
