Prince of Persia: here is The Lost Crown, the new chapter of the saga


One of the most anticipated video games of the year, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, the latest chapter in the legendary saga, was released worldwide on January 18th. The video game is available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, Amazon Luna and Windows PC through the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store.

The game

In the new adventure, players will take on the role of Sargon, a young warrior, member of an elite group called “The Immortals”. Sent to save Prince Ghassan, the protagonist will have to explore Mount Qaf, once a wonderful place but now cursed and hostile. Sargon and his brothers in arms will soon discover that time itself is a treacherous enemy and that the balance of the world must be restored.

The adventure

Inspired by the structure of the Metroidvania video games, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown allows players to explore a new world at their own pace. From the majestic Citadel of Knowledge to the colorful landscapes of the Hyrcanian Forest, there are many environments inspired by Persian mythology. By acquiring new Powers of Time, unlocking unique abilities, equipping different amulets and combining them with each other, Sargon will progressively delve into Mount Qaf, solving puzzles, finding secrets and completing exciting side missions. The protagonist of the game will also learn to master the different Powers of Time to defeat the unique and mythological creatures that will hinder him.

The demo

To get a taste of the epic journey of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, you can try the free personalized demo, available on all platforms. It includes carefully selected sections of the game, with some Time Powers and amulets unlocked, to showcase the main features of the game. Some content in this demo may vary from the final game.

The soundtrack

It will be possible to completely immerse yourself in the mythical world of the game thanks to the original soundtrack. The traditional instruments of the Iranian composer Mentrix on the one hand and the modern sounds of the award-winning Gareth Coker on the other, will accompany players in every environment.
