The plot of the movie

For the first time in more than a decade, DreamWorks Animation presents a new chapter in the Shrek fairy tales in which the daring outlaw Puss in Boots finds his passion for danger and his disregard for caution gain the upper hand. Though he lost count along the way, the Puss burned eight of his nine lives. To get them back, he will have to undertake the greatest feat ever.

Academy Award® nominee Antonio Banderas returns to voice the infamous Puss in Boots as he embarks on an epic journey through the Black Forest in search of the fabled Wishing Star and an attempt to reclaim lost lives. But with only one life left, Puss is forced to seek the help of his former partner and nemesis: the alluring Kitty “Velvet Paws” (Oscar® nominee Salma Hayek Pinault).

In their enterprise, the Puss and Kitty will be helped – against all common sense – by a ramshackle, talkative and joyful stray dog named Perro (Harvey Guillén). Together, our trio of heroes must stay one step ahead of Goldilocks (Oscar® nominee Florence Pugh) and the Three Bears Crime Family: Mama Bear (Oscar® winner Olivia Colman), Papa Bear (Ray Winstone) and Little Bear (Samson Kayo), “Big” Jack Horner (Emmy winner John Mulaney) and the big bad bounty hunter, the Big Bad Wolf (Wagner Moura), who has targeted the cat. The film also stars an all-star cast of comedians that includes Puss in Boots’ doctor (Emmy nominee Anthony Mendez) and Mama Luna (Tony Award nominee Da’ Vine Joy Randolph).

SKY CINEMA SHREK (channel 303)

And on the occasion of the first screening PUSS WITH BOOTS 2 – THE LAST DESIRE from Monday 4 to Friday 8 September Sky Cinema Collection (channel 303) turns into SKY CINEMA SHREK, with all the films of the franchise dedicated to the likeable green ogre and the first chapter PUSS IN BOOTS. All films will also be available to stream NOW and on demand.

The saga opens in 2001 with the first memorable SHREK, a masterpiece that revolutionized the world of fairy tales and won the Oscar® for best animated film. It tells the story of a green ogre, grumpy but with a good heart, who must free Princess Fiona, segregated in a castle, which will make his heart beat. The fun continues with the second blockbuster chapter, SHREK 2. This time Shrek and Fiona must face the wrath of her parents, unwilling to accept a “monster” as a son-in-law. In SHREK THIRD in the kingdom of Far Far Away the king died and we need to find Fiona’s cousin, Arthur, heir to the throne by line of succession. The green ogre, together with his friends Donkey and Puss in Boots, set off in search of him, but a surprise awaits them. The fourth and final installment of the animated saga, SHREK’S HAPPILY EVER AFTER, sees Shrek grappling with the problems of a family man and a strong nostalgia for the old days. Thanks to the trap that the dwarf Rumplestiltskin sets for him, the ogre will end up living another unforgettable adventure. Finally, there is also THE CAT IN THE BOOTS, the first chapter of the daring animation starring the character made famous by the Shrek saga. In this hilarious adventure, the friendship between the mocking Puss in Boots and Humpty Dumpty is broken following a robbery gone wrong, but fate brings them together on the way to the infamous Goose that lays the golden eggs.
