Qualcomm partners with three Spanish universities for 5G courses

The Qualcomm Wireless Academy University program is open to university students from around the world who are studying for a bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degree

Qualcomm Technologies has announced its collaboration with three Spanish universities to offer training courses on 5G. Through the Qualcomm Wireless Academy (QWA) program, students from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, the University of Malaga and the Polytechnic University of Valencia will have access to 5G training courses and the opportunity to receive a 5G training certification. The program has been designed to develop the 5G skills and competences of Spanish university students and to increase career options in the technology ecosystem. With the expansion of 5G in different verticals and industries, more and more talents are needed.

To grow your 5G knowledge and skills, you can enroll in two free courses taught by industry-leading engineers from Qualcomm Technologies. The courses (5G Primer and Fundamentals of Cellular Communication & 5G) offer an overview of 5G, how it works and how it is transforming the way the world operates. After completing the complimentary training portion of this program, students can register for QWA’s 5G introductory level certification exam. This certification can be used to demonstrate to employers that students understand the basics of 5G and how it works.
