Queen Elizabeth would have turned 97 today, the memory of the family

“Today we remember the incredible life and legacy of HM Queen Elizabeth II, on what would have been her 97th birthday.” These are the words of the Royal Family in remembering the late queen with a last portrait published on social media. In her photo, Queen Elizabeth poses smiling with a bouquet of flowers in her hand. She wears a powder blue suit combined with a hat with flowers, a symbol of her unmistakable style. She has a pair of white gloves, earrings and three strings of pearls, as well as two brooches pinned to her chest.

Under the photo, many messages of affection in memory of the queen, while the Royal Family retraces her life on Instagram: “When Her Majesty was born in April 1926, Princess Elizabeth and her family did not expect that one day she would become Queen. After her uncle Edward III’s abdication in 1936, her father succeeded to the throne. When King George died in February 1952, Princess Elizabeth became Queen Elizabeth II when she was just 25. Her Majesty became Britain’s longest reigning monarch, the only one in history to celebrate a platinum jubilee’.

William and Kate also want to remember the late Queen Elizabeth II in a sweet and affectionate way, who would have turned 97 today, by posting a photo of the queen in a grandmother version on Instagram. “This photograph, which shows her with some of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, was taken at Balmoral last summer,” wrote the Princes of Wales. In the photo appears a queen in casual version. No hat on my head, nor do I wrap pearls around her neck. Of her majesty seated on a sofa in the midst of 10 children, she appears smiling and relaxed. She is wearing a colorful checkered skirt, a blue blouse and a sweater of the same color resting on her shoulders.
