The President of the Institute for Sports Credit, Beniamino Quintieri on the occasion of the presentation of the Sport 2023 report by Ics and Sport and Health.
“With the Sport Report, a project aimed at creating a sector observatory capable of offering a useful set of information for orienting sport policies sees the light of day”. The President of the Institute for Sports Credit, Beniamino Quintieri, explains this on the occasion of the presentation of the Sport 2023 report by Ics and Sport e Salute. “The visual angle of the analysis represents an effective perspective for improving the definition of intervention priorities through financial support policies aimed at a convergence between investment, performance and social objectives. It is important to underline that the impact assessment conducted on the funding granted by Ics made it possible to demonstrate the ability of Sport to be a social multiplier for the territories and for the community”.
“From what emerges, it is not so much the amount of investment that matters, but the ability to create aggregation; even a small investment can have a very high social return.” Beniamino Quintieri, president of Credito Sportivo Italiano, said this during the presentation of the 2023 Ics and Sport and Health Report.
“There is a dualism between the North and the rest of the country, in sport, even greater than what is observed by looking at traditional economic values. A question of infrastructure arises: the interesting thing is that the social impact of an investment in sport in the South would be higher than that of the North. Investing in the South, in fact, would create greater benefits”, concludes the president of Ics.
