RDS 100% Grandi Successi announces with extraordinary enthusiasm RDS Loves Sanremothe return to the city of flowers, on the occasion of 74th edition of the Italian Song Festival. In the year in which the artistic direction of the event involved national radios in the jury, RDS will be present on the Ligurian Riviera to celebrate great Italian music with an unprecedented series of initiatives that will involve both the public and the artists.
The Worst Worst of Sanremo
To tell the story of the event, live from Monday to Saturday from 12:00 to 15:00 Petra Loreggian And Giovanni Vernia for the occasion they will become The Worst Worst of Sanremo. The most irreverent couple on Italian radio, in fact, will broadcast from Sanremo inside a real mobile studio, the RDS TRUCK, located in Piazza Vincenzo Muccioli, a stone’s throw from the Ariston Theatre.

The official voices of RDS will also alternate with the talents of RDSNEXT, the social web radio dedicated to GenZ, entirely created and curated by the most followed creators and webstars on social media. In fact, they will land on the Riviera Samara Tramontana And Gaia Garavaglia, also live from the city of flowers from Monday to Saturday from 4.00pm to 6.00pm on RDSNEXT.

These four exceptional speakers will be at the center of a special coverage that will transform the experience of the 2024 Sanremo Festival into something truly extraordinary for listeners, hosting interviews with the competing singers and giving the public behind-the-scenes and exclusive content.
Great space will be dedicated to the Festival and to local radio initiatives throughout the week also by the other RDS programs and by Radio Lega Serie A with RDS: all the group’s broadcasters will be involved both on air and on social profiles to ensure maximum coverage of the initiative.
In the immediate vicinity of the RDS TRUCK, a real village will also be set up which will host sampling and entertainment activities carried out in collaboration with the initiative’s partners. Among these there will also be Galbanino, who, with great enthusiasm, renews his partnership with RDS, confirming his commitment after the enormous success of RDS Summer Festival 2023, the event that last summer brought music and entertainment for the whole peninsula and which has also hosted numerous emerging musical talents. Once again, Galbanino accompanies aspiring artists, this time to Sanremo, the city of music par excellence. In fact, during the week of the Festival it will come to life PalcoSanremo, an unprecedented space created in collaboration with Open Stage and dedicated to the new promises of music, which in recent weeks have been selected by listeners through a web contest promoted by Galbanino himself. The chosen talents will have the opportunity to perform in the village on a special totem stage that takes the shape of the Galbanino, created by Open Stage. A perfect combination of taste and melodies that promises to delight the audience with ever new emotions.
However, RDS will not only bring entertainment: the creators of RDSNEXT in fact, during the week they will meet high school students from the Ligurian city, making their expertise available to talk and discuss topics dear to GenZ, such as digitalisation, social media and communication. The meetings will be moderated by Federico Cella, Head of Login Corriere della Sera and of CampBus, the innovative educational project of Corriere della Sera which brings training sessions on new digital technologies to Italian high schools and which in recent months had already seen the presence of RDSNEXT as a media partner.
