Grant Singer signed the film whose story he wrote with Benjamin Brewer with whom he also edited the screenplay together with Benicio Del Toro; among the director’s works is the documentary Shawn Mendes: In Wonderreleased on Netflix in 2020.
reptile is a thriller film that sees the Puerto Rican actor in the role of a detective engaged in solving a murder case. The streaming platform has released the trailer for the film, officially showing the first images.
Benicio Del Toro and Justin Timberlake lead the cast playing respectively the protagonist detective and the victim’s partner, also present Alicia Silverstone, Eric Bogosian And Michael Pitt.
Netflix has released the synopsis in the film sheet: “A hardened small-town detective uncovers a complex web of deception as he searches for the truth behind the brutal murder of a young real estate agent”.
Finally, Netflix has announced that the film will make its debut on the streaming platform (also visible on Sky Glass, Sky Q and via the Now Smart Stick app) in just over a month, to be precise on October 6th.
