Riccardo Scamarcio opens a restaurant in Andria: “We transformed our grandmother’s house”

When he was a child, Riccardo Scamarcio used to visit grandmother’s house in Via Bologna 83, in the center of Andria. Today the actor and producer has transformed the place of childhood memories into the Club64, the restaurant with B&B open in company of the siblings Ella and Nico. “We respected the wishes of our father, who did not want to sell this house to which we are all very attached,” Scamarcio’s sister declared to Cibotoday. “We wrote a new story about her.” Today, within the walls of the house, a refined restaurant has arisen, which recalls the atmosphere of the speakeasies of the 1930s and which in the three small and intimate rooms furnished with velvets, drapes, marble tables and comfortable armchairs offers quality cuisine based on the tradition of local products. In the menusimple but very rich, stand out in fact raw seafood, lobster, tiella of rice and potatoes, homemade orecchiette and “burnt zitoni from baked pasta”, while on the wine list Rivale also appears, a pinot noir produced by Scamarcio in Polignano a Mare. Four rooms they will then be able to welcome guests on business or holiday trips for an overnight stay.
