Ricci (Eni): “Enjoy electric car sharing in Milan strengthens Net Zero commitment”

Car sharing in Milan also becomes electric thanks to Xev Yoyo, an electric car with the technological innovation of battery swapping. The car is equipped with three 22-kilogram batteries that can be easily replaced both by our staff and in service stations equipped with cabinets. We have equipped them in the metropolitan area of Milan and they are now at the service of our fleet of Xevs, enriching the number of Enjoy vehicles already present in the area for nine years”. He underlines it Giuseppe Ricci, general manager of energy evolution of Enion the sidelines of the conference to present the Xev Yoyo city cars equipped with battery swappingbattery replacement as an alternative to recharging from columns.

Focusing on car sharing and electric mobility confirms Eni’s approach towards the Net Zero goal by 2050: “We are quite advanced on the path in terms of strategic planning and results already achieved – continues Ricci – Eni’s strategy has the achievement of net zero carbon in 2050 not only in its processes but also in its products and services. We are increasingly offering our customers decarbonised products.”

“We are doing it – he recalls – with Plenitude offering electricity and gas from renewables, we are doing it with service stations where biofuels are being added, in some cases hydrogen, and electric charging stations. We are doing it with car sharing in which Eni has believed for almost a decade and we are developing circular economy processes as well as transforming traditional refineries into biorefineries”.
