The post reads a quote from Emily Dickinson: “Whoever is loved knows no death, because love is immortality, or rather, it is divine substance. Hi Bobo”.

Born in Varese on March 15, 1955, Maroni, who had been ill for some time, dedicated his entire life to politics: federal secretary of the Northern League from 2012 to 2013, he was Minister of the Interior in the Berlusconi I and Berlusconi IV governments, becoming the first politician from outside the Christian Democrats to hold the office in republican history, minister of labor and social policies in the Berlusconi II and Berlusconi III governments. He also covered the role of president of the Lombardy Region from 2013 to 2018, succeeding Formigoni.
