Roma have announced that “Stephan El Shaarawy has renewed his contract with the club until 2025”. “I would like to thank the club for giving me the opportunity to wear the yellow and red shirt again,” said El Shaarawy. “Roma has always been my priority, here I found a second family and today I feel the responsibility to give back to the fans the affection they have always shown me. In recent years we have grown in awareness and unity and now we must continue to fight to achieve the goals we deserve”.
El Shaarawy scored 58 goals in 231 appearances, becoming the 19th top scorer in the history of Roma. “Over the years, Stephan has shown great attachment to the team and to the city, as well as offering a constant contribution on and off the pitch,” commented the General Manager of the Sports Area, Tiago Pinto. “Today we are happy to be able to guarantee Roma his experience and professionalism, together with the plays, assists and goals that have always distinguished him”.
