In Rome the national demonstration “Let’s choose life”
“With today’s national demonstration for life, we want to repeat last year’s huge success. We are 120 associations and we want to testify to Italy that if it wants to restart it cannot do so without this square, betting on life and on the family which is its cradle”. This was stated by the member of the Pro Vita & Famiglia board, Maria Rachele Ruiuon the sidelines of the national event “We choose life”, held in Rome.
“We want to testify that it is not only right but also important, necessary, urgent, and wonderful to choose life and for this we will make a joyful procession – continued Ruiu -. From the stage of San Giovanni we will let the testimonies of real life speak and then we will continue with a beautiful concert “.
“Time does not stop us. I know that people from Emilia-Romagna have also arrived and this thing moves me. We are here to tell Italy to support the family, the birth rate and to give structural subsidies and make investments in the family – underlined Ruiu -. Not only that, we need to help women not to be forced to choose whether to be mothers or workers. Furthermore, these must be free to welcome life and also, where there should be an unexpected or fragile pregnancy, help them to avoid abortion”.
