“Support to 200 companies in the sector, entry into the capital of 15”
“The logistics sector is of strategic importance in this historic moment of globalization or deglobalization and logistics companies have shown resilience to two black swans that have hit the sector.” This was stated by Pasquale Salzano, president of Simest speaking at LetExpo at Veronafiere, a presence at the event that of Simest which was recently sealed by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Alis.
“The first black swan that struck across the board and symmetrically, that of the pandemic, faced horizontally within a globalized system. – he explained – The second black swan, deriving from the war in Ukraine and from inflation is instead a totally asymmetrical system and showed how different are the answers that companies have to give.In this context – Salzano underlined – public aid has become increasingly indispensable and Simest has made tools available to protect companies in synergy with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and with Cassa Depositi e Prestiti”.
Indeed, in the last three years, Salzano recalled, “with subsidized finance instruments it has helped 16,000 small and medium-sized enterprises in 150 countries for a total of 15 billion euros. A very important support, especially for logistics, 200 Italian enterprises have been benefit from these instruments with an entry into the capital for more than 15 companies”.
