Samsung collaborates with Maurizio Cattelan’s collective, new covers for folding

Four covers for Z Flip4 and three for Z Fold4 made exclusively by Toiletpaper

Samsung Electronics Italia has announced its collaboration with Toiletpaper, the creative collective founded and directed by the artist Maurizio Cattelan and the photographer Pierpaolo Ferrari, which has created an exclusive series of covers designed for the new generation of Samsung Galaxy Z folding smartphones. The collaboration has given rise to four special covers dedicated to Galaxy Z Flip4 and three for Galaxy Z Fold4. The famous red lipsticks on a pink background, colorful snakes, wild roses and the cat in the clouds, the latter only for the Galaxy Z Flip4 model, are the graphics chosen to decorate the covers of the new foldable Samsung devices, presented in August on the occasion of the Galaxy Unpacked event. Through a QR code it will also be possible to download a GIF to set as the background of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 external screen. The covers are available on the Samsung website, and soon on Amazon and in selected Mediaworld and Unieuro stores, at a price of € 69.90 for the Galaxy Z Flip4 covers and € 79.90 for the Galaxy Z Fold4 covers.

“We are thrilled to announce this artistic collaboration with Toiletpaper,” said Nicolò Bellorini, Head of MX Business at Samsung Electronics Italia. “The creative factory is internationally known for its ability to dare with the power of the imagination, breaking the mold; similarly, with folding devices Samsung wanted to open its world, overcome the limits of the possibilities offered by a smartphone, redefining the rules and changing perspective. A perfect combination that makes the new Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold4 even more special for all those who want to express their style without limits ”. Maurizio Cattelan added: “Toiletpaper was born ten years ago as a magazine where we can simply do what we wanted, freeing ourselves from the patterns of our worlds of origin, art for me, photography for Pierpaolo. This freedom has exploded over time, giving rise to collaborations, such as the one with Samsung, that we could never have imagined ”.
