Amadeus’ announcement on Tg1. The competing singers go from 26 to 30

Amadeus revealed in the 1.30pm Tg1 the names of 27 Big names competing in Sanremo 2024. Several surprises in the list, including great returns and absolute debuts in the festival competition. From Tuesday 6 February to Saturday 10 February, the following will compete on the stage of the Ariston theatre: Fiorella Mannoia, Geolier, Dargen D’Amico, Emma, ​​Fred De Palma, Angelina Mango, La Sad, Diodato, Il Tre, Renga & Nek, Sangiovanni, Alfa, Il Volo, Alessandra Amoroso, Gazzelle, Negramaro, Irama, Rose Villain, Mahmood, Loredana Bertè, The Kolors, Big Mama, Ghali, Annalisa, Mr Rain, Maninni, Ricchi & Poveri.

With a last-minute change to the regulations, the artistic director has brought the total number of artists competing at the festival to 30 (there should have been 26), of which 27 (and no longer 23) were announced today. In fact, the names announced today will be joined by the 3 artists who will take the podium in the Sanremo Giovani final on 19 December and who will be promoted among the Bigs.

Alongside the host and artistic director, in the role of co-hosts, there will be the already announced Marco Mengoni (in the first evening of the festival, Tuesday), Giorgia (Wednesday), Teresa Mannino (Thursday), Lorella Cuccarini (Friday) and Fiorello ( for the final on Saturday).
