Selvaggia Lucarelli intervenes on the John Travolta-Sanremo 2024 case. The journalist published on her profile on advertising campaign for the launch of the shoes worn at the Ariston.

In this email, explains Lucarelli, the presence of a character specifically on the occasion of Sanremo was foreseen. “Amadeus can say what it wants, but this is the email sent by U-Power to retailers on February 1st containing the media campaign planned for the launch of the shoes worn by John Travolta. And the ‘appearance in Sanremo’ of a special star was expected and announced”, explains Lucarelli.

And in the email published on social media there actually appears an indication of a ‘special appearance’ scheduled for February 7 in Sanremo, the very day on which Travolta participated in the event. “What makes you smile is that for Mediaset, dazn, Discovery and Sky U-Power always announces in the email instead real commercials, therefore paid to the networks – underlines Lucarelli – While Rai, from what it seems, has not even taken a euro and now he also finds himself accused of covert advertising.”

Another topic that has caused discussion is highlighted, namely the phrase pronounced by Amadeus ‘don’t worry be happy’ on the occasion of Travolta’s guest appearance: “By the way, as you can see, U-Power inserts the phrase ‘don’t worry be happy’ in the sender’s voice in the email. The one uttered by the host last night together with Travolta. Strange, isn’t it?”, says the journalist.
