Amadeus’ announcement on Tg1. L’étoile: “Important opportunity to bring dance to the temple of pop”
It will be a great ‘star’ to illuminate the final evening of the Festival. The étoile Roberto Bolle arrives on the stage of the Ariston Theater on Saturday 10 February as a super guest. The artistic director Amadeus announced it this evening on Tg1.
Ambassador of dance, from classical to contemporary, Bolle has managed over the years, thanks to his commitment and overwhelming passion, to bring people of all ages closer to this extraordinary expression of art. “The presence of the étoile Roberto Bolle – stated Amadeus – embellishes the final evening of the 74th edition of the Sanremo Festival. I am honored by his participation, I thank Roberto for accepting my invitation. It is right that the world of classical dance at the highest levels is present in an iconic theatre, from a pop point of view, and that the two worlds can meet“.
Bolle: “Enthusiastic about this invitation”
“I am enthusiastic about this invitation from Amadeus – underlined Bolle from the ballroom in London – and I thank you deeply for this important opportunity to bring dance into the temple of pop. Bringing this art closer to people’s hearts has always been my great mission and this invitation could not have been more welcome. There is a strong assonance between this extraordinary Sanremo, which thanks to its artistic director and host, has been able to unite the generations by exciting and re-engaging young people and creating artistic, musical and cultural bridges and what I try to do every day to dance: exciting hearts of all ages with an ancient art”.
