Sanremo, among the young people there is Lor3n: “If I win I cry and dedicate it to my parents”

The singer-songwriter from Ivrea among the 12 finalists: “There’s a bit of fear, but I’m working on it”

He has a very elegant white shirt, the clean look of a teenager. Lor3n, 22 years old, born Lorenzo Iavagnilio from Ivrea, arrived among the 12 finalists of Sanremo Youth with the song ‘Winter Flower’, and the smile says it all about his joy at having made it. “The song was born like all my songs, on the piano – he tells Adnkronos on the occasion of the presentation of the artists on Rai – It was born with the aim of being presented at Sanremo Giovani, we chose it together with my team because it was very catchy and apparently we made the right choice.”

Born with a passion for music, at 10 he began to study classical guitar as a self-taught person and at 14 he began writing his first songs. ‘Winter Flower’ “is a simple song, there are all the instruments, piano, acoustic guitar, drums, and strings – he reveals – From a sound point of view there is no experimental research because I decided to stay in the groove classic songwriting, and best express myself that way.” The Sanremo experience “is a bit scary, I admit it -he says without filters- because we are going to do something really huge. But I’m enjoying it and trying to work on myself so I can put on the best performance I can.”

“Why choose me? Because I’m sincere – says Lor3n, who on December 19th will challenge the other 11 finalists to win one of the three places available for the February festival – My songs are autobiographical, I always talk about myself and how much I it happens and I try to do it in the clearest way possible.” And he swears: “There is no competitive atmosphere among colleagues. We’re trying to enjoy it.’ Okay, but what if you win?”If I win I cry, and I dedicate it to my parents“.
