Netflix (also visible on Sky Glass, Sky Q and via the app on Now Smart Stick) has announced that the actors of the film Scott Pilgrim vs. the World will lend their voices to the characters of the new anime series based on the comic created by Bryan Lee O’Malley. Michael Cera will return for the title role in Scott Pilgrim.

Michael Cera will once again star in the production, followed by Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Ramona Flowers, Satya Bhabha as Matthew Patel, Kieran Culkin as Wallace Wells and Chris Evans as Lucas Lee. Then present Anna Kendrick for Stacey Pilgrim, Brie Larson for Envy Adams, Alison Pill for Kim Pine, Aubrey Plaza for Julie Powers and Brandon Routh for Todd Ingram.
We will then hear the voices of Jason Schwartzman for Gideon Graves, that of Johnny Simmons for Young Neil, that of Mark Webber for Stephen Stills, that of Mae Whitman for Roxie Richter and finally that of Ellen Wong for Knives Chau.
Executive producers will be Edgar Witght, Bryan Lee O’Malley and Bendavid Grabinski. Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, directed by Edgar Wright and released in 2010, proved to be a great success, becoming a cult film over the years. The film also earned numerous nominations and various awards, including two wins at the Satellite Awards in the categories of Best Film – Musical or Comedy and Best Actor – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy.
