Scudetto 2006 Inter, Moggi: “Calciopoli? I’m waiting for the European Court”

The former Juventus general manager after the sentence of the Council of State: “I expected it”

“My appeals are going ahead, I’m waiting for the European Court and the Tar”. Luciano Moggi, former general manager of Juventus, expressed himself after the sentence with which the Council of State rejected the appeal presented by the Juventus club and left the 2006 scudetto to Inter.

I expected the sentence of the Council of State, when they decide to do something they carry it through to the end. It was enough that the judges had seen the episode of Report and would have realized how things went. Given the heat of these days I’ll close the practice here and I won’t add anything else. In any case, my appeals are going ahead, I’m waiting for the European Court and the TAR”. This is how the former general manager of Juventus Luciano Moggi comments on the decision of the Council of State to reject Juventus’ appeal against the decision of the extraordinary commissioner of the Federcalcio, Guido Rossi , which in 2006 had awarded the Scudetto to Inter, won on the field by the black and white team and remained vacant after the decisions of the sports justice for the Calciopoli scandal.

“If the European Court ascertained the violation of the rights of defense, all those proceedings that led to sports convictions would be reopened. Then there will be fun”, adds Moggi.
