The cyber attack of 11 May on several Italian sites, including that of the Senate and of the Defense, was claimed by the Russian wire collective Killnet, one of the most active Russian hacker groups. Killnet, since the war in Ukraine began, has claimed responsibility for – among others – attacks on Romanian, Polish and some American corporate sites.
