Shakira left Spain to go and live in the United States with her two children, Milan and Sasha, with her ex-husband Gerard Piqué.

The mother’s decision would like to pursue the “search for their happiness”, putting the well-being of the children first, according to the Colombian singer. “I settled in Barcelona to give my children stability, the same that we are now looking for in another corner of the world with my family, my friends and the sea”, wrote the pop star in the long and detailed caption of a post recently shared on Instagram (which you can find at the bottom of this article).
Shakira is therefore starting a new chapter in her life after splitting from soccer star Gerard Piqué. Her Instagram post is a final farewell to the city and nation that had become her home in recent years.
Thus he wanted to definitively and blatantly say goodbye to Barcelona and Spain, where he resided with his two children and his then wife Piqué: “Today we begin a new chapter in the search for their happiness”, reads the heartfelt post on the star’s IG profile “Thanks to all those who have sailed with me in the waves of Barcelona, the city where I learned that friendship lasts longer than love. Thanks to all those who helped me, dried my tears, inspired and raised. Thanks to all my Spanish fans who have given me their loyalty and love. For you guys, it’s just goodbye and, as my dad said many times, see you on the curves.”

Is Miami the destination? It’s not official yet but it would seem so

Shakira is reportedly thinking of returning to Miami, Florida, along with Milan and Sasha. This move comes after the father of her two children – she reportedly – cheated on her with the woman she is officially and publicly dating now, namely Clara Chía.
After parting, Shakira wrote a song with a j’accuse Sui generis. The Colombian singer-songwriter has collaborated with Bizarrap for Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53 in which we hear her insulting Piqué in a very creative and original way. Her song immediately proved to be a worldwide hit, even becoming a hymn to female emancipation.
In one verse of the song, the words “Las mujeres ya no lloran, las mujeres facturan” are heard, which means “Women no longer cry, they cash in”.

The song became a global hit and when Shakira appeared at the The Tonight Showthe performance went viral, with the audience chanting super excitedly along with the star.
