Shakira will release her new album, featuring songs about the end of her 11-year romance with her ex-boyfriend Gerard Piqué.
The 46-year-old Waka Waka singer had a romantic relationship with the 36-year-old Spanish soccer player from 2011 to 2022 and together they have children Milan, 10, and Sasha, eight.
According to the latest reports, Shakira has been preparing to detail the collapse of her relationship on her next album after her epic song with Bizarrap racked up hundreds of millions of likes.
A music member told the British newspaper the sun: “Her next album will definitely be a revealing record and she won’t be shy about letting everyone know what happened.”
“Shakira was working on another record before she was suspected of infidelity, so those songs are being rewritten with new endings to give fans a fuller picture of the truth.”
“Those who have heard clips say that it combines Latin, rock and hip hop and is more empowering than angry,” the source added.
Meanwhile, Gerard Piqué dates Clara Chia Martin, 23 years old. The couple went Instagram official last month.
Following the news, the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer took to Instagram and shared a video of herself dancing, along with a caption that read: “Women don’t cry anymore, women dance merengue”.
