Simple Minds return to Italy after the 2022 tour which concluded with a sold out show at the Verona Arena. The band will be in Milan on April 20, 2024 at the Mediolanum Forum for the European leg of their Global Tour 2024, a world tour that will take them to play in front of a million people, with a show that mixes songs from the latest album and great classics. New Gold Dream Live will be released in October, a celebration of 40 years of the original album.
In the past decade alone, Simple Minds has played to hundreds of thousands of people around the world, including their largest U.S. tour in 2018. Demand to see the band perform well-known hits, including “Promised You a Miracle”, “Glittering Prize”, “Someone Somewhere in Summertime”, “Waterfront”, “Alive and Kicking”, “Sanctify Yourself” and “Don’t You Forget About Me”, has grown year after year, and the band has been consistently acclaimed as one of the best live groups of its generation.
Having sold more than 60 million albums and achieved number one hits around the world, Simple Minds have not only become a must-see live attraction, but have reignited the magic that made them a vital artistic force in their early days and a significant influence on a number of younger artists.
