Inter have announced the defender’s operation. Season over?
There is no peace for Milan Skriniar’s season. The defender, who chose not to renew with Inter and will say goodbye to the team of which he was chosen captain on a free transfer this summer, underwent surgery yesterday.
Inter communicated the successful outcome of the operation on their official website: Milan Skriniar underwent endoscopic surgery on his lumbar spine yesterday at the “Clinique du Sport” in Merignac.
A rehabilitation program will follow for the Nerazzurri defender in the coming weeks.
Inter have not officially communicated the recovery times of their defender. At the same time as the successful outcome of the operation, however, the company spoke of a rehabilitation process to be followed in the coming weeks. In his Instagram stories, with which Skriniar informed the fans of his condition, the defender instead hinted at a “brief rehabilitation”.
Net of the objective of fourth place, it is obvious that the Nerazzurri season revolves around the Euroderby with Milan, and that all efforts will be made by the staff to have the player available on that date. To date, however, the sensations are not positive.
The risk, despite the transfer to PSG being put in the balance by some rumors, is that the defender’s season, from a fantasy football point of view, can be considered already over. Moreover, the defender underwent surgery at the Clinique du Sport in Merignac, in reality a testimony to the fact that the medical treatment was also taken in agreement with the PSG, at this point the player’s future club without any doubt.
