Sky and Warner Bros Discovery strengthen partnerships in Italy

The discovery + app arrives on Sky Q and Sky Q subscribers will be able to enjoy discovery + entertainment at no additional cost for 12 months, thanks to Sky Extra

Sky and Warner Bros. Discovery announce a new agreement that strengthens their multi-year partnership and from tomorrow 30 June brings the discovery + app to Sky Q, in addition to the free and pay channels – Discovery Channel, Eurosport 1, Eurosport 2 – and the on-demand content of the Warner Bros. Discovery group already present on the Sky platform. In this way, Sky Q confirms itself as the reference point for those who want to have, in one place, all the best Sky content and those of the main streaming apps – as well as a unique and engaging viewing experience – and Warner Bros. Discovery further extends the diffusion of discovery + to one of the most advanced platforms in Italy.



With this agreement, Sky subscribers with Sky Q – via satellite or via the internet – will be able to access discovery + directly from the App section or with voice control and find a selection of discovery + contents directly in the Home of Q. Furthermore, thanks to Sky Extra, the Sky Q subscribers will be able to join the discovery + “Entertainment with advertising” plan for the first 12 months at no additional cost on their Sky subscription.

Many original shows present and arriving on discovery +: from the brand new Tailor Made – Who has what it takes? with Tommaso Zorzi (available from 28 June) to the awaited new season of Bake Off Italia (arriving on 26 August), passing through the new edition of Matrimonio a Prima Vista (from 15 July), crime programs, documentaries up to the wrestling shows, which are once again available for Sky subscribers. All contents that complement the already rich entertainment of Sky with the new seasons of the Sky Original titles Bruno Barbieri – 4 Hotel (from 30 June on Sky Uno and on demand) and Paola Marella – A dream for rent (from 3 July on Sky Uno and on demand).
