THE NEXT ECLIPSE

TOTAL ECLIPSE

• To have a total eclipse, however, the Moon must be quite close to our planet to completely cover the solar disk in the sky: a phenomenon of this type is expected on April 8, 2024, but even then it will only be visible from the Americas

• During an annular eclipse the sky remains quite bright, even with the sun 90% covered. The ring of fire was admired only by those who were on a narrow trajectory
