On Saturday the provincial councilor for health Thomas Widmann reported that the number of infections continues to increase and that vaccination boosters are therefore essential. For this reason, the hope is strong that the population will join the vaccination campaign planned for all of South Tyrol next weekend (from Friday 10 to Sunday 12 December). The appeal is addressed to all: those who have not yet been vaccinated come for the first dose and the others take the second or – if the last one dates back more than five months ago – the booster dose. As the deputy coordinator of the Covid Franzoni unit reported, the organization is in full swing and defined this initiative “a great opportunity for all South Tyroleans to get vaccinated in a simple way”.
