The State Congress promotes “San Marino Aerospace”, experts and companies from all over the world on Monte Titano from 25 to 26 October
Also San Marino goes into orbit. Indeed, one of the oldest republics in the world is organizing the ‘San Marino Aerospace‘, the first international event dedicated to the dell sector‘aerospace and of space economy hosted on Monte Titano. The event, which will take place at the Spazio Multieventi on 25 and 26 October next, will offer an opportunity for institutions, laboratories, companies and startups to meet and discuss the prospects of innovation, research and aerospace technology. For two days, the Republic of San Marino will therefore host conferences, panels, b2b meetings, demonstrations, workshops and insights, with the participation of top Italian and foreign experts in the aviation and aerospace sector. A large exhibition area is also planned, with the expected presence of over 200 exhibitors from San Marino, Italy, Europe, the United States and other countries around the world.
“San Marino Aerospace is an event strongly felt and wanted by the Republic of San Marino, which looks to the future with an attentive, dynamic and innovative eye, and which intends to offer an important opportunity for development and growth for economic, financial and scientific operators” he affirmed Fabio Righi, San Marino secretary of state for Industry, Crafts and Commerce, Technological Research, Regulatory Simplification.
“This event – explained Righi – is a first edition that intends to pave the way, with the ambition of becoming a biennial and promoting San Marino as a reference point in the aerospace sector, capable of uniting the European continent with distant countries, as a neutral country and promoter of dialogue, which in this case focuses on innovation and the challenges of tomorrow”.
During the event, the project for the creation of the “San Marino Aerospace Valley” will also be announced. In fact, the San Marino area intends to welcome and create a synergistic network between leading companies in the aerospace sector – in particular as regards research, innovation, technology, sustainability, energy and finance – which can share their skills and make the Titano a pole of excellence and attraction at an international level.
This pole will also be able to see the development of a special collaboration between San Marino and Italy, also following the recent establishment of the permanent technical inter-ministerial table for discussion between the two countries on the subject of economic development, also as regards the space economy. The “San Marino Aerospace” event is promoted by the State Congress of the Republic of San Marino which has entrusted its organization to the San Marino company TAIT, with the patronage of the American Chamber of Commerce in Italy.
At the moment, the specialized bodies and companies that have confirmed their participation include the European Space Agency (ESA), the Federation of Italian Aerospace, Defense and Security Companies (Aiad), Thales, Avio Aero, OHB Italia and Dallara. Sponsors of the event are the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of San Marino and the Agency for Economic Development, San Marino Aircraft Registry, Banca di San Marino, Cassa di Risparmio of the Republic of San Marino, San Marino Welcome, Tim San Marino, Games of the Titan, Allflex.
