On September 1, the coach will issue the squad for the matches valid for the Euro 2024 qualifiers against North Macedonia (September 9 in Skopje) and Ukraine (September 12 in Milan).
“I chose Spalletti because he won the scudetto making Napoli and all those who love football excited, he is a strong and confident guide, he has experience and a brilliant game. But above all because, right from the first phone call, he showed contagious enthusiasm”. Gravina said today in an interview with Corriere della Sera.

Spalletti was contacted by the president of Coni, Giovanni Malagò.
