It looks like the Spice Girls have in store a new top secret project which would involve not only the four female artists Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), Mel B (Scary spice) And Mel C (Sporty spice), but also the fifth original member of the group, Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice), for the first time in 11 years since the last iconic full performance in the closing ceremony of the 2012 London Olympic Games. “We are considering making a statement. I can’t say what it’s about right now because we’re perfecting what we’re going to do together, all five of us, but the fans are going to love it, they’re really gonna love it,” Mel B said in an interview with The Sun. On Victoria, Scary Spice added that “it wasn’t about convincing her. She dressed my mother and I when they awarded me The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, so we’ve always kept in touch.” Also, “we have a group WhatsApp chat, we talk to each other all the time, but it’s just a matter of timing. She was very busy designing her own fashion line and supporting David and of course she has kids so it was just about finding the right moment. And we managed to do that, so an announcement should come soon enough.”
THE RETURN OF VICTORIA BECKHAM
The group had organized the latest reunionswithout Victoria, in uk stadium tour 2019. “It took a lot of courage not to tour with the Spice Girls again, but to say, ‘You know, I’m not going to because things are different than they were.’ I prefer to focus on my family and my company. Last year, David Beckham’s wife had explored the reasons for giving up concerts in an episode of the program Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen: “I had a lot of fun being a part of it. But I think now, with everything I have at stake, between my fashion line, my beauty line and four children, I wouldn’t have made it”.
