Squid Game was among the streaming platform’s biggest hits ever, entering the Top 10 of the most popular series on Netflix. More than two years after its distribution, Netflix has shared the official trailer of the reality show it will see 456 players fight for the final prize money.
4,560,000 dollars is the value of the win that only one of the participants will be able to win after defeating all their opponents. The Netflix Italia YouTube channel shared the official trailer, obtaining positive reactions.
Squid Game: The Challenge will be composed of ten episodes which will make their debut on the streaming platform (also visible on Sky Glass, Sky Q and via the Now Smart Stick app) in a few weeks, more precisely on 22 November. Here’s the official synopsis: “Immersed in the world of ‘Squid Game,’ 456 real-life contestants test their skills and character to win a prize of $4.56 million.”
In addition to the public’s favor, Squid Game has also won over critics by receiving some of the most prestigious awards in the sector, including a victory at the Golden Globe in the Best Supporting Actor in a Series category thanks to his performance Oh Yeong.
