Disney has finally released the trailer Of Star Wars: Ahsokathe new series that follows the story of former Jedi Tano – played by Rosario Dawson – busy preventing the evil Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen) from becoming, as she puts it, “heir to the Empire.” A show that, finally, it will be possible to see on Disney + starting from next August 23rd.

The series

Directed by Dave Filoni, Star Wars: Ahsoka represents the actual continuation of Star Wars: Rebels, the series that ended in 2018 after 4 intense seasons. As you can easily guess, the show will fall under the so-called “Mandoverse” along with the series The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett And Skeleton Crew (to be released by the end of 2023). A world that should accompany viewers towards a new film directed by Filoni himself, which should show us the Star Wars universe from different points of view. However, it is not only the return of the former Jedi Ahsoka on the small screen that creates expectations in the spectators, but also – and above all – that of Thrawnthe character introduced by Timothy Zahn with the trilogy de The heir to the Empire and then taken directly into the Star Wars universe, where it conquered the fans of the saga.

As we anticipated, Rosario Dawson will play the role of the protagonist Ahsoka Tano, who boasts of having been an apprentice of Anakin Skywalker. Next to her, other members of the cast:
