Startups, 8 finalists chosen for the Italian Master Award 2022

From the startup that transports organs with drones up to smart technologies for seismic protection, passing from 100% biodegradable bioplastic born from milk waste products: 8 companies are finalists in theItalian Master Startup Award 2022. The Prize, now in its 16th edition, is promoted by PniCube in collaboration with the Incubator of the Politecnico di Torino I3P, and is intended for startup born from academic research that have shown the best performances on the market. The winning startup will be awarded on 30 September at the Italian Tech Week, the largest Italian event on technology.

Ten years after law 221 which officially recognized startups, giving way to an organic regulatory framework to support the growth of new innovative companies, the Italian Association of University Incubators (PniCube) brings the Imsa finalists to the stage of the Italian Tech Week, to the Ogr Turin and takes the opportunity to take stock of what has been done and the challenges for the future. The event, in its 16th edition organized in collaboration with the Incubator of the Politecnico di Torino I3P, will take place in the early afternoon of September 30th, with free admission, upon registration, and in live streaming. Next Friday’s event opens with speeches by the president of PniCubeAlessandro Grandi, and the president of I3P, Giuseppe Scellato, followed by the pitches of the 8 finalists who will illustrate the path taken and the future objectives to a jury composed of investment fund operators, academic entrepreneurs and business managers.

The award ceremony will be anticipated by the panel ‘Growth paths of Italian startups: successes and challenges’ which counts guests of the caliber of Stefano Buono, president of Liftt and CEO of Newcleo, Claudia Pingue, Cdp Venture Capital Sgr, Alessandro Cillario, co-founder of Cubbit the startup with the ambition of becoming the most important provider of distributed cloud services in the world, and Jonata Puglia, co-founder of the startup of systems for communication and control of satellites Leaf Space.
