Succession, Brian Cox reflects on the end of the series: ‘The best work experience’

“We have reached the end. And it was, in my career, definitely best work experience ever”. In Instagram stories Brian Cox celebrated the end of Successionthe Emmy-winning HBO drama series in which he played the patriarch for four seasons LoganRoy. “The harmony between the cast and crew was truly amazing. It was on its way to being a great series, but the love and dedication of the crew, cast and writers made it memorable”. The actor continued, “I’d like to thank everyone involved in the making and creation of this show from the bottom of my heart.”


In an interview given to BBC News ahead of the grand finale, Cox said he felt Logan’s character’s death in the third episode of season four was “premature,” even though the event contributed to the portrayal of a “brilliant scene.” Daniel Fienbergchief television critic of The Hollywood Reportercalled the latest episode of the series created by Jesse Armstrong “cruel, funny and poignant”, in short “a sublime ending to a sublime television series”.
