“The Peroni campus is built on connections because it is a place of collaboration. It was born a few years ago to bring together the best resources and intelligence of research centers and scientific partners, but also of innovative start-ups”. So the director of External Relations and Institutional Affairs of Birra Peroni, Federico Sannellaon the sidelines of the event organized by Campus Peroni entitled ‘Value connections for the ecological transition of agri-food‘.
A job made possible by the connections between small and large Italian companies which, as Sannella explained, “are useful for being able to understand what the future will be for the ecological transition”. During the event held in Piazza Santi Apostoli in Rome, the director of External Relations and Institutional Affairs of Birra Peroni then presented the new eco-systemic model promoted by the Campus.
“This is based on three phases: traceability, measurement and improvement – continued Sannella – The first involves the traceability of all data from the agri-food chain and we do it through blockchain technology that allows us to share data and be transparent. With measurement we can understand where we need to act. Finally, with the improvement we try to identify shared projects and resources. In short, the focus is on collaboration and on the value of the data collected”.
