A plan for the school that provides for almost 100,000 hires over two years. In particular, for the next school year, the expected recruitments will be 56 thousand, 19 thousand of which on the support and the others on the common position. This was confirmed by the Minister of Education, Giuseppe Valditara, in a meeting with the trade unions.

Comment from the unions

“We appreciate the minister’s resumption of trade union relations and we express satisfaction with the guarantee given regarding the measures envisaged in favor of tutor teachers, so that they are discussed in the context of national bargaining”. This is the comment of Rino Di Meglio, national coordinator of the Gilda-Unams Federation, after the meeting with Valditara. “As far as recruitment is concerned, we hope that all those established by the plan will actually be implemented, unlike what happened in recent years when the assigned professorships were less than half of the authorized positions”, he added. “Unfortunately, on the contractual front, there we find ourselves in a stalemate due to the complexity of the sector, which includes school, university, research and Afam”, concluded Di Meglio. In particular, between the next school year and the following one, 65 thousand of the new hires will enter thanks to the resources of the Pnrr and 35,000 extra Pnrr with an extraordinary procedure reserved for those with 36 months of service and 24 credits.
