The second season will be richer in episodes
We go from eight episodes of the first season to ten of the second.
“The restaurant will have to deal with many problems and difficulties on a daily basis, so each character will deal with the situation in a different way,” teased the creator of the TV series, Christopher Storer.
“Winning is like losing. When you think you’ve won something there’s always the next challenge, there’s immediately the next problem… They’re trying to bring it to a higher level, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy. It doesn’t mean that everyone thinks it’s the right thing to do. So obviously there’s some inner turmoil and there’s challenges,” adds Storer.
The success of this innovative series
The Bear in the United States it is a real phenomenon, not only on television but also on customs and society.
The show’s goal is to show what lies behind the world of cooking, focusing on two basic ingredients of the “recipe”: the effort and sweat needed to achieve important goals.
Italy, a country in which the world of cooking is among the first to excel, often ignores the path necessary to arrive at a top result in the kitchen. With The Bear, however, the focus becomes this unpublished story. Here the effort behind the dishes becomes even more important than the delicacy itself.
The Bear it focuses on the individual rather than the cuisine, the professional and the man rather than his craft. The reason for the resounding success is precisely this novelty: we are talking about a television product that fills a void.
The phenomenon The Bear
The Bear tells a slice of American catering, focusing on that of Chicago. The latter is among the US metropolises that most of all give particular importance to food. The protagonist is a Chicago sandwich shop chef, who returns to his hometown after spending a lot of time in New York.
His return is due to a tragedy: his brother, owner of a fast food restaurant, committed suicide. So the chef will undertake to take over the place to carry it forward.
