New images of The Book of Boba Fett, TV series of the Star Wars universe entirely dedicated to the legendary bounty hunter. People magazine has released an exclusive clip starring Boba Fett himself and Fennec Shand.
The Book of Boba Fett, what we know new
In the new clip Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison) e Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen) discuss how the former bounty hunter will keep order on Tatooine. If before him Jabba ruled with fear, Fett will rule with respect. In the trailer, entitled “Authority”, we see Boba watching the guests at his dinner. Fennec asks the bounty hunter if he trusts his compatriots, and Boba replies: “I trust they are operating in their own interest.”
On Disney + a new episode will be released every Wednesday starting December 29, and will also be visible on Sky Q and via the app on the Now Smart Stick. The new series will again see Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen reprise the roles of the two characters and will see the directing involvement of Robert Rodriguez, Jon Favreau, Bryce Dallas Howard, Dave Filoni, Steph Green and Kevin Tancharoen.
Who is Boba Fett
Star Wars fans know very well Boba Fett. He is a bounty hunter who first appeared in the 1978 animated special. He is initially mysterious and deadly in the classic trilogy where he appears in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi; then it comes inserted in the cycle of prequels thanks to Jango Fett, a Mandalorian used by the Kamino cloners as a genetic matrix for the Republic’s army of clones. Accompanying Boba is there mercenary Fennec Shand. Fennec first appeared in the first season of The Mandalorian and then returned in the second season alongside Fett.
The words of Ming-Na Wen
Recently, the actress Ming-Na Wen made some statements about the roles of Fennec and Boba in the series. Wen specified that his character cannot be defined as either good or bad. “It will be really interesting to see how their dynamics evolve in The Book of Boba Fett. I think that’s all I can say. The rest … you will see. It’s not that they’re the bad guys but they’re not that good either. ” he told The Direct. “We are the anti-heroes. I love playing an anti-hero ”. As for the link between the two protagonists: “Well, there definitely is a nice bond between the two. They bonded due to the fact that they both had experiences that brought them close to death. And there is a kind of moral code to which both abide ”.
