The circular economy of Conou protagonist at Ecomondo

Also this year the Conou will be the protagonist of Ecomondo, the reference event dedicated to the circular economy and the ecological transition, now in its 25th edition. From 8 to 11 November, while Cop27 is underway in Egypt on the increasingly urgent theme of the climate crisis and ecological transition, the Consortium, within its stand, will create moments of environmental education, meetings with institutions and with young people to underline the urgency of adopting policies to support the environment and to combat climate change.

Three appointments will take place during the fair: Tuesday 8 November, 3.00 pm Sala Neri 1 – Conou participates in the General States of the Green Economy; speech by President Riccardo Piunti in the thematic in-depth session: “Raw materials, the exit from the crisis passes through the circular economy. In collaboration with Circular Economy Network “. Wednesday 9 November, 11.00 am, stand Conou 008 (South Hall) “Framework Directive on Waste: the EPR for the circular economy and climate neutrality. Scenario and evolutions for the management of lubricants “. The talk, moderated by the environmental jurist Paola Ficco, will see the participation of: Simona Bonafè, parliamentarian; Stefano Ciafani, president of Legambiente; Andrea Di Stefano, Novamont Special Projects Manager; Gianna Gancia, European parliamentarian; Marco Munari, researcher at Anton Dohrn Station; Mattia Pellegrini, Head of the Environment Directorate General Unit, European Commission; Riccardo Piunti, president of Conou.

Thursday 10 November, 09.30 – 13.00, Conou stand 008 (SOUTH Hall) “At Ecomondo play and learn the circular economy. Educational activities and meetings for the classrooms ”- Circular economy and sustainability for schools: discovering the secrets of used mineral oil. Students visiting the Fair will be able to discuss with the Conou technical director, the territorial managers, and with professionals and disseminators in the sector.

In addition to in-depth moments, the Consortium stand offers visitors an active and engaging participation: “Green League: play, learn and win for the environment”: an area dedicated to environmental education in a gaming key; “Discovering used mineral oil with augmented reality”, the Ar technology adapted to the waste oil supply chain, with special effects that will promote knowledge of a virtuous and excellent process in Europe such as that of Conou; “Circular economy, what do you think?”, The public visiting Ecomondo will be the protagonist of a survey to express their opinion on the importance and role of environmental protection in the current scenario; “Music and sustainability: Rds Green meets Conou”, within the stand of the Consortium, moments of entertainment, playlists and live insights with speakers of Rds 100% Grandi Successi to talk about climate change and initiatives to defend the Planet.
