The Continental: From the world of John Wick, the prequel series starring Mel Gibson

The miniseries The Continental: From the world of John Wick, prequel of the four chapters of the action film saga with Keanu Reeves, will arrive on September 22nd on Amazon Prime Video (also visible on Sky Glass, Sky Q and via the app on Now Smart Stick). The three episodes created by Greg Coolidge, Kirk Ward and Shawn Simmons and directed by Albert Hughes and Charlotte Brandstorm tell the origins of the protagonists of the saga and the Continental Hotel, den of the worst criminals in the world and theater of John Wick’s adventures.


In the New York of the seventies the young man Winston Scott (interpreted by Colin Woodell), future sworn enemy of John Wick, runs a business in London, but after receiving a call from the manager of the Continental Hotel Cormac Fitzpatrick (played by Mel Gibson) is dragged into a living hell to face a past he thought he had left behind. His brother Frankie (interpreted by Ben Robson) has in fact stolen something extremely precious to Cormac, and he will have to recover it. The protagonist will thus begin his climb to the top of crime, until he takes control of Cormac’s organization and becomes the owner of the hotel which will be destined to gather the most ruthless hitmen.


The cast also includes Ayomide Adegun in the role of CharonWinston’s future loyal right-hand man and concierge of the Continental Hotel who in the film saga was played by the late Lance Reddick, and again Peter Greene, Katie McGrath, Jeremy Bobb, Sallay Garnett, Mishel Prada, Nhung Kate, Jessica Allain And Ray McKinnon.
