Richard Schiff is Dr. Aaron Glassman, a neurosurgeon and president of San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital. Mentor and friend of Sean since he was 14, he is a sort of father to him, and is the only fixed point

Christina Chang is Dr. Audrey Lim, a trauma surgeon at San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital and a former partner of Melendez. In Season 6, she is seriously injured while trying to help Nurse Villanueva. Although Shaun saves her life, she remains paralyzed (but temporarily)

Fiona Gubelmann is Dr. Morgan Reznick, a new resident with a competitive nature and aloof attitude. In Season 3 she is diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, which forces her to drop out of surgery

Will Yun Lee is Dr. Alex Park, an ex-cop turned doctor. Cynical and pessimistic, divorced and father of a teenage son, over the course of the seasons he falls in love with Morgan Reznick (except to leave her due to her excessive ambition)

Paige Spara as Lea Dilallo, a computer expert and Shaun’s great love. The two get married on the season five finale, after losing the child they were expecting

Bria Samoné Henderson is Dr. Jordan Allen, a new resident at St. Bonaventure. She ends up developing an almost brotherly relationship with her colleague Asher, and she becomes best friends with Lea

Noah Galvin is Dr. Asher Wolke, a graduate student at St. Bonaventure and comes from a family of orthodox Jews who do not accept his being an atheist and homosexual. During the episodes he falls in love with the nurse Jerome

The first new entry of The Good Doctor 6 is Brandon Larracuente as Dr. Daniel “Danny” Perez. With a positive attitude, behind his dazzling smile hides years of hard struggle with opioid addiction. He will fall in love with Jordan Allen

Savannah Welch, another new entry, is Dr. Danica “Danni” Powell. A determined woman, who often opposes her superiors (starting with Dr. Murphy)
