In the heart of Sydney, the Kings Cross district lights up the city’s nights with sparkling lights, to welcome all those looking for all kinds of entertainment and vices. It is precisely here that the new Sky Original series inspired by John Ibrahim’s autobiographical bestseller of the same name is set. The Last Boss of Kings Crossof which the official trailer is released today. The Last Boss of Kings Cross is a Sky Studios and Cineflix production.

Coming July 26th

The series, arriving on 26 July exclusively on Sky and streaming only on NOW, tells the story of the rise in society of two brothers, who arrived from Lebanon with the great dream of finding fortune, who have laboriously made their way into the criminal environment of the city up to success.


lincoln younes (Grand Hotel) plays John Ibrahim, a Lebanese immigrant in Sydney who dreams of making a fortune: in the late 1980s, he and his brother Sam – Claude Jabbour (Stateless) – are enraptured by the lights of Kings Cross, a place known to “host” all forms of crime. John opens a nightclub and begins to succeed in his field, eventually becoming the most notorious nightclub tycoon in the area. Until a wave of cocaine overwhelms Sydney like an epidemic, the criminal ecosystem of Kings Cross falters and it’s time to fight to establish who’s boss. The Ibrahim brothers will face the reigning king, Ezra Shipman (Tim Roth – pulp Fiction, Hyenas), cunning and well-known crime boss. Now that he’s aged, Sydney’s most powerful and feared man realizes there’s no one capable of carrying on the legacy he’s built for decades.
